Who else is getting anxious! Time to get those “over the winter” jobs finished up!

One of my trees is in full blossom. It's a sort of plum. For years I thought it was "bird berries" but the fruit has a good sized pit with little pulp around but what is there is incredibly sweet. It would take a ton to make any jelly or jam but it would be delicious.

A lot of us are in that same situation. This state has really turned into a nightmare under Newsom and the other crooks.

Get a drive in as soon as possible to find any new problems you may have...

Took mine out for our monthly retiree breakfast two weeks ago and was very glad I did - it had a miss even after it was completely warmed up (20 mile to the restaurant and it was 30F when I started at the drive -- very refreshing, it was 50F three hours later, much more enjoyable.)

Got home and pulled the distributer cap for the first time in the 15 months I've had this cobra and was horrified to the the rust in my pre 2009 MSD dizzy and one of the advance springs was broke, lucky it hadn't fallen down inside the distributor, just one of the small ears. Now I have time to replace the 15 YO unit before serious driving weather arrives. Now to figure out what is the "best" solution today as I can't believe the number of material quality issues MSD has across all car of this vintage including Mopars, Chevies and Fords...

First things first; I'd be anxious about having things set on that beam above my car. Gravity happens . . .

We have had good luck with the Pertronix distributors. Self-contained (no ignition box needed) and available with an adjustable rev limiter. They also have "factory cast" units that are not billet so they look like an O.E.M. Ford unit. And they have OE type caps in BLACK!

Thx for the info, Rick. I was looking at Progression but that looks like a lot more than I need for a street only car and something about having blue tooth dizzy just doesn't seem right for a car that doesn't even have OBDII port. $100+ cheaper is also bonus.
