Superformance door latch part needed.

While working on the door latches I discovered that the fancy nut that holds the flag has been replaced by a regular nut which makes shutting the door difficult. Thus, I am in need of a replacement for the missing nut (see pic). Anyone know where I could pick just the nut up??

I don't know where to find that hex cap nut
but the striker assembly that contains that nut can be found at: Moss Motors part number 401-408 https://mossmotors.com/401-408-striker-plate-wedge |

I bought a used Cobra 4 years ago from my brother. He sent me a box of extra parts and it just happens to contain a set of door locks with the nut you are looking for.

If your latch assembly is made by SILENT TRAVEL
(logo is on striker plate) then the nut + striker wedge bolt assembly is PART NUMBER 602D. There are a couple of UK based parts operations that carry the complete door latch and sub-assemblies from SILENT TRAVEL. If you're looking for a cheap solution, then disregard. |
