SPF going cheap (so far)

Unfortunately, I am in no position to do *anything* about this but somebody here should. There is currently an SPF with a 460" and a 5spd TKO on ebay with no reserve at $36K and only 13 hours to go.

btw, I have no affiliation with the sale, etc., etc.

Gone

Went for $38,100. Somebody got a steal.

When you consider the early chassis number (3xx), year built ('98) and the fact that it had arguably some harsher 8,000 New Hampshire miles on the odometer, it probably went at a slight discount. Hard to tell from looking at pics on the 'Net just exactly what kind of shape it was in and how tight the motor actually is. At least the previous owner was pretty forthright in the physical description of the vehicle and noted several rock chips, etc. $38,100 is a good deal. $39-40K is roughly market price for that car, and it is the wrong time of the year to move these cars.

same seller had a superformance brock daytona coupe listed as well on ebay, under 500 miles and roush 427R, no reserve after a starting bid price of $65k. however, that adv has been pulled with a 'no longer available for sale' message. that too could have been an outstanding buy, like this spf was . bill.

The seller quoted 7000 miles, and unless driven in the winter, NH isn't really any harsher than say, New York. Around here, SPF big blocks go for 48K to 55K. No SPFs to be had for anywhere under 44K regardless of age in my market watch in the last 6 months anyway. Just my 2c.:3DSMILE:

Okay, so the buyer still ended up with a "Our weather is crappy 5 months out of the year" discount. ;)

Looked like a nice car and a great buy for someone.
