Front Suspension help please
My upper ball joints are bad. I have an older car that used the pressed
in type. I see that the new ones are screw-in type. Do I need to buy an entire new setup? My lower ball joints just needs boots. Do I need to by lower arms and joints here too? Does anyone know where I can just get new boots that will fit on the lower ball joints? I also need new front wheel bearings. Does anybody know what these early bearing sets cross over to? Thanks, Tom Car# 95 |
Tom,
It may be worth a call to Dennis Olthoff. They're usually pretty good about supplying parts for older SPFs, OR, upgrading to the newer setups. Good luck. |
Tom, I agree with you. Dennis knowes these cars inside and out. Most of the modifications/upgrades started there.

Tom,
When Dynamic MS was cleaning out the old before they changed hands MIke found a box of old suspension parts. Maybe call James down there and see if he has them of if they went somewhere else.... |
Thanks,
I found some brand new arms with the screw in ball joints so I'm all set now. But I also ended up with a new set of press type joints and arms so now I have an extra set up. Does anyone need a nice set of upper & lower arms with ball joints for $75.00 plus shipping? |
I'd like all the part numbers if possible for future reference...
