Alternator bracket

Getting ready to drop the 460 and tranny in a couple of weeks, trying to get brackets and other misc stuff ready. Would any one have a picture or two of which bracket to use. Trying to make sure I atleast get a bracket that lets the alt clear.

I found one on ebay (item# 140044919753), wondering if this style will fit in the SPF.

Does anyone know if I will have room to drop the 460 and the TKO in all together??

Thanks

I believe the only way is to drop them in as a unit. That's what is suggested in there install video. I think that any 460 alt. bracket will work, I'd check the local salvage yard for one off any 460 car/pick-up. I'm sure that the dealers also stock them, as they sell install kits with all those items included. Before you buy one elsewhere, I'd call Dynamic and check with them about the brackets. They can tell you WHAT they are for originally and also how much the ones they have sell for. I know the ones for the FE engines are just old mid-60's low mount brackets. Usually they are used ones that have been cleaned and painted, so I don't think the 460 ones are anything special either.
