Recommended Tire Size
What tire sizes are most people using (front/rear)? Most of the SPF dealers I've spoken with offer a standard 255/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear. This combo has the rear tire 1" taller than the front. These same dealers also recommend upgrading the rear tire to a 295/50/15 for increased tire width. When this is done, the rear tire will now be almost a 1/2" shorter than the front tire. Should the front tire be downsized to a 245/60/15 to keep the tire heights the same? Will it make that big of a difference? What do you have and are you happy with the "look"/stance of the car?

Kevin,
What size tire do you have up front?

235/60 in front.
I'm sorry to offend anyone but, 17's make the cobra look like a hot rod, and I love hot rods. Since the cobra has a short wheel base and huge fenders, the 17's look bigger than the car. If I went auto cross racing, I then would use 335/35-17's for better traction. In the 15" size, were limited.

Any opinions on whether the front and rear tire heights should be equal, or if the front tire should be slightly shorter?

If anything, the rears should be larger in diameter. A rear 60 would not fit on my Lone Star and I see many cobras makes are in the same situation. I like a taller sidewall but, I had to use a 50 series.
