Stainless knock offs
I'm nearly positive that when I try to take the tri wings off there will be some difficulties. Haven't been off the car since 2001 and 7200 miles. Do the standard stainless triwings from trigo or Cobra Racing have the correct threads?
Thanks, John

You can do a search to find out a few methods for removal. Mine were frozen and had to make a jig type deal to load the 3 ends evenly. If your hubs are correct size trigo should work fine.

John, go to the autoparts store and buy a can of "PB Blaster". Spray it all over the hubs and spinners (this stuff won't ruin the wheels, but wipe away any overspray) and let it soak in for 24 hours. Trust me...this stuff works wonders on rusted bolts, etc. Also get yourself a good, solid 1' length of 2x4. You can place one end on a spinner ear and beat the other end with a rubber mallet or urethane mallet. This works especially well in the back where you have a deeper offset to the wheel and it's harder to get a good hard whack on the spinners.

Much like the above post a 2X2 X18" piece of hardwood (Tight grained) works well with a 3lb or 5lb mallet. Takes them off and puts them on. No marks on the ears either.

I'll try your methods and see what happens. I have sprayed WD40 on the hubs in anticipation of a problem. I'll get some of that PB blaster if they don't budge. Thanks for the replies.
