What polish for side pipes?

I just finished swaping out my black ceramic coated side pipes for a set of silver coated side pipes. They are Superformance pipes that look almost chrome like. Just wondering what you guy are using to polish them.

I use the "MOTHERS Mag & Aluminum Polish". There are quite a few polishes on the market, and I've tried 4 or 5 different ones. No real difference in my opinion. Just keeping after the pipes finish is the secret in my opinion. It's just a matter of "elbow grease" to keep them looking pretty....
BTW... What's the status of the old black pipes...Interested in selling them?

Him speak truth, Kemosabe...Mother's is good stuff. Like Blas said, however, it's a real elnbow greaser...it'll wear your butt out if you let it get away from you. Best bet is to stay on top of it every couple of months, at least.

Also, check out Performance Unlimited's Exotic Metal Polish. Here...try this web page... http://performanceunlimited.com/cobr...talpolish.html

This polish is put together and marketed by Randal Thomas, the webmaster for Superformance Cobra Owners Forum (SCOF). I've used his polish on my side pipes on #770 for years and it works great. It's still hard to polish them, but the finish is really nice...almost chrome. It's also good for wheels, roll bars, and almost any unfinished polished metal. Give it a try...I think you'll like it.
