SPF steering wheel..

Anyone had their steering wheel off?? Need to straighten my steering wheel as it has always been a tad crooked from day 1.... Don't want to booger it up so am looking for suggestions...does the steering wheel cap pop off or screw off?? I would assume it pops off as the diamond needs to be straight with the wheel also...

Thanks in advance...
Tom

The cap just pops off - held in by a close fit and a rubber 0-ring - no rotation required :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

A credit card does a great job popping the emblem off.

Really easy to get the wheel off. After the cap's off, you'll see the nut. Loosen away. The wheel's on a grooved rod, just pull it off and over one groove.
I lined mine straight up-and-down and marked it with a Sharpie before removing it so I'd know where I started.

You could also have an alignment shop put it up on the rack and have them adjust the tie rod ends to align the steering wheel to straight. Saves boogering up the screw heads on your wheel.
