Wiper Fluid Reservoir Removal
I was thinking about pulling my wiper reservoir (don't plan on getting ANY use from it). Has anyone else done this? Does anything have to be done with the 2 wires connected to the wiper reservoir?

I removed mine. I can't remember it having two wires. If it did, I just unplugged them.

Mine's gone. Maybe things have changed since #237, but I had a manual vacuum pump - no wires.

I removed mine, replaced the bolts back in the holes (For looks) then taped the wire ends and stuffed them back into their exit hole.
I did all that in case I ever want to re-install the washer system I won't have to look for all the parts or do any re-wiring. Ivan |
I didn't remove mine as of yet, but did change the switch to run my fuel pump. Might just remove it now that I think about it. I did see one car with it hooked up and about 2/3 of the spray came right over the windshield. Pretty funny.

I removed mine so that I could locate my brake vacuum reservoir in a clean spot. Photos in gallery if curious. Never had a need for a windshield washer anyway, and don't use them unless it's raining and oil gets splashed up on the glass (the Cobra never sees water, so that's never a problem).

I took mine out too. Just taped off the wires.
I took the wiper blades off too. Rain-X. Those silly little blades just start flapping up in my line of sight at 120. If I don't have any blades, I sure don't need no washer fluid!:LOL::LOL: |
