I originally had the factory eagle gt ii's on the 15 inch rims and all was fine.i then replaced them with pse 17" and michelin 275's in the front and 335's in the rear. Then i gained a vibration at the 65-70 range, if i accelerate past that point , it goes away. Sounds like the same condition as you have. I know the allignment and everything else is fine, as it did not shake with the factory ones on it. I am going to road force balance them soon, and if that doesnt help, just deal with it i guess. Good luck,

i had my 17 inch pse , and michelin pilots road force balanced and the problem has gone away, that was the culprit. The car drives as good as new now, what a joy. I am going to re balance (road force)the 15 inch factory wheels, and eagle gt 11's next, the guy at the tire shop says they can go out of balance. I hope it helps the way it did for the 17 inch wheels.

Just so everyone understands Road force balance orients the tire on the rim to cancel out high spots on the rim with soft spots in the tire sidewall. After the tire and rim is married at the ideal spot via road force balance a traditional dynamic balance is performed to minimize rotational inertia.

Make no mistake if you have a dumbassss kid doing either it is worthless. He needs to input the correct rim dimensions and understand how to operate the machine.

I installed 3 oz of balancing beads in each of my recently road force balanced tires and the vibration I was experiencing from 70 mph (nearly gone) - 80 mph (about 50-75% reduced) was substantially reduced to a point where I am "happy". Best $55 I ever spent on balancing.

I was considering that....

I used those beads on my motorhome (huge tires) and they worked great.. thanks for the tip...
