Power Steering
Hi,
I have an Australian spec'd SPF and it's getting it's engine/transmission/computer installed at the moment...the Engineer & I were talking about the possibility of installing power steering and I remember seeing somewhere that there were kits designed specifically for the SPF. Has anyone any experience of installing a power steering kit and what was your experience? |

I think Mike from the SecondStrike website has it on his car...not 100% positive about that...Keep us posted about your cars build progress...

I have KP's power steering system installed on my car. It works great, I autocross the car and it makes a big difference. I had someone install it (I was in a hurry). The biggest problem I had was finding the right pulley for the motor. You should email KP if you have any questions, he was very helpful.
If you are getting the install done right now, I would also upgrade the motor and tranny mounts. Kenm2560 |
I have power on 2689 and love it, works great in tight places and great on the road. Installed by Dennis Oltoff, has a changeable valve for different feel.
