GT40 Mk1 "hip options"

I have checked out the SP site and talked to a couple dealers but I still can't figure out what are the options for the hips ?? (No perkey butt jokes please, the whole idea of a perky butt is very distracting !!). The site sez there are A and B options, but they don't show up in the specs ?? A dealer told me there were " narrow, normal and wide (+ 5") options ?? What I would really like to see are some pictures of the options (Or if necessary, some perky butts !! Damn, I was afraid this would happen )....

I really enjoy that little hot rod, even more than I hoped. I just have a GT itch that I need to scratch. Just like a 13yo I keep sneaking a peek at your avatar.:JEKYLHYDE

I am in the same situation, I think we would both be smart test driving one first, I hear the visibility out the rear has alot to be desired but they are gorgeous cars.

Gt-40

Maddmaxx,

Bartruff1 and yourself need to stop in at the shop. I have a GT-40 SPF in the shop, I would be willing to let you drive it. I would like to move this car.

Don't let the rear vision dash your hopes of getting a gt40. You get used to it real fast. No problem passing cars, chaging lanes, etc. The only tough part is backing out of your garage :)

Nothing beat the sound of a gt40 at full throttle with webers!! Today was the last day for mine as winter is coming. The Stabil is in the car now.

I did take it out for a nice blast today!!!

In short, take the standard. I'm not worried about seeing much out the back given the amount and type of traffic and the kind of roads I drive on. I just want it to be in PERFECT condition. I prefer a small block in red or white, but of course the right deal is the right deal.

Bartruff1 11-29-2008 05:00 PM

That's just the car for Max !!!
