insulation yes or no??
Is it worth insulating the inside of the cockpit? Has anyone tried thermo-tec for heat insulation? What did you use...

Definatly worth the trouble. I used Lizard skin.

Do it. Cuts down on rattles and cockpit leaks.

Dynamat Extreme here. I'd use it again. My feet havn't gotten hot yet, and there are no leaks or rattles.

I also used the Dyna mat extream; on the tunnel I did both the inside and outside. I can hardly feel any heat transfer, foot boxes and the small panel under the carpet on the door and the floors and the large panel behind the seats. When I close the doors they go THUNK. No rattles and it just makes it seem so solid.
