Street Beast Fuel Sender
Merry Christmas all.
Taking a break and was wondering if anyone can tell me what fuel sender and fuel gauge you used on your street beast kit. The manual has the following part numbers: 06-1075-XX - gauge 06-1083-00 - sender Not sure what manufacturer goes with the part number. If I can't find the part, can I just buy a gauge and sender from Summit? Would the sender need to be the depth of my tank which is 9 inch's? |
You need to start with the value of your fuel level gauge. They are usually 33-240 ohm or 0-90 ohm. If you match the sender to that gauge and make sure it is good for the depth of the tank. Another consideration is if you have baffles in the tank and if a float type can be set up to clear it. I like the solid state type senders with no moving parts from companies like Centroid and Isspro.

At this point I have no gauge or sender, so the sky is the limit. I guess I will need to see what gauges I want to use for everything else and pick a gauge and sender from that line.

Summit or Jegs, anything you want. All that kind of stuff is not mfg. specific.

That sure makes it an easy decision after the hard one of deciding what you want to look at. Modern Autometer gauges with a traditional look are here Search Results for cobra gauges - SummitRacing.com
