Shift Light info needed.
Im searching for a compact shift light for the column and have found numerous makes but many have bad reviews. I want one that does not require the RPM activated switch which is an additional purchase and more complex install. So far I like the MSD 89631 all in one unit but need your input for those that have a shift light before I buy one. Which model do you have or like? Pros and cons. Thanks

Good info here and thanks for the reply. The MSD 89631 smaller version I really like too. No pills but is programmed for the RPM right on the top of unit.

The Omex Shift Light Pro ( https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p...ight-pro-omslp ) might be the smallest, most discreet one I have seen. The small single 10mm round LED light can be incorporated in the dash to resemble a normal warning light... |

What about a sequential shift light system.
Here's an example: Digital Race Electronics Sequential Shift Light System Measure 2.3" x .63" x 1.38". Small enough it could easily be fitted anywhere without a bracket. Use 7/8" 3M Attachment Tape (double sided auto molding tape). High adhesion but removable without leaving bonding marks. |
