Driveshaft parking brake adjustment
Does anyone know how to adjust the parking brake on the driveshaft. The parking brake has not worked for awhile and i drove not realizing that i pulled the brake handle. It started to squeel when the brake is applied and the noise seem to be coming from the rear end. I was going to put the cobra on the rack and see if i could take off the pads and sand them and re-install.

email me rick@timemachinesauto.com and I will forward the factory tech bulletin. If the brake has been driven with it on a distance the pads are likely toast. We have one in the shop now doing the update and new pads. |

Yes the pads in that thing are literally about the size of a healthy peanut. The adjustment procedure is in SCOF. Pretty Straightforward, you can get the pads from superformance, RT doesn't show that they are from some other vehicle...Maybe a vespa?
If you drive with the brake on for more than 20 feet they are probably toast.
