Cam Installation Tool
Guess what,.... I found that the side handle that came with my Ryobi 4" Grinder threaded perfectly into the hole of my SB Ford Cam. I used this to remove my old cam and to install the new Comp Cam. This was perfect for not banging up the cam bearings.
On the install, I threaded the handle in (but not completely tight) and slid the cam right in. Worked Great. Once the cam was in all the way, I gave a quick snap of the wrist (Think Foosball, here)... and the handle came back off perfectly....... RZ |
Great idea. I wonder if my DeWalt cam installation tool will work as well?
