I had a componant craft cobra kit car years ago but traded it the day I got it for a 32 ford .I wished for another cobra later.I hope this one gets me going.

Have you contacted Street Beasts (the old CMC) in Florida. Maybe they would be nice and send or email you the assy. manual.

Got a posi out of a couger wednesday and stuck it in my frame.Fixing to drill axels for a 5on 4.5,Got to set of large drums off a 9 inch small barring that might fit . I was looking on the Cobra Club for cad drawings and such for wheel offsets ,I cant seem to find any. Do I have to be a member to get them?

I doubt you will find any CAD drawings on Club Cobra for wheel offset. You can find plenty of discussion, if you do a search on wheel offset.

I have a Street Beasts with a Strange 9" with shocks and coil spring set-up, like a mustang. The max offset I can run with this is 4.5".

You can go to places like tirerack.com and they explain wheel offset. In a nutshell, measure from the face of your axle to the nearest thing your tire will touch (frame, shock, spring) and that's the max you can go in that direction. It really depends how wide of a tire you plan to run and how much you can stuff under the car.

Good Luck!
