Spark Plug Boots
Will those fiberglass spark plug boot covers burn if they are in contact with headers? Says they are good for 1200 degrees. This is on a GT40 with upswept headers.

No, they will not burn and they will prevent the related heat from damaging the boots.

They are worth their weight in gold. (or oil in the year 2008) you may have to figure out a way to secure them a bit as sometimes they move about.
