Air Cleaner Size Calculator
I want to thank the Second Strike.com newsletter for taking the guess work out in estimating the appropriate size of an air cleaner. Has anyone else used this calculator? Has anyone used a flow bench to validate the model ? Would be neat to see the correlation.

I don't put much stock in that calculator. It says I'm losing 23.3 horsepower, yet on a chassis dyno, I gain 11 horse and 8 lbs of torque, with my air cleaner versus NO air cleaner.

Calculator says I am losing 0.23 hp. Dyno says I am losing 0.00.
Seems pretty accurate in my case. |
