Suggestions on front brakes
Starting to finish front suspension and brakes on CRII. I've upgraded the mustang II supension and put on QA DR4855P with the 10-225/475 coils. I'm looking for suggestions for front brakes. The rear is 12" willwood Dynolite proseries. Wheels will be 17" Torq Thrust II. Thanks for help.

I have the wilwood six piston Dynalite series that use the 13" vented and sloted rotors. Can't tell you if I like them or not because my coupe is not ready for road trials much less track use. But, they look real good. My Cobra has the wilwood 4 piston w/ 11.78" rotors and they are a nice option for the Mustang II suspension.

Call Dean at Hot Rods USA. He'll set you up with a Wilwood Brake package at a very competitive price. The 17" wheels will allow you to run a 12.19" or even a 13" front disc. I'm running an 11.75" disc with 1.75" Superlite Calipers with 15" wheels and I am very pleased with performance. The kit that Dean put together for me (Mustang II based) uses Granada hubs that in coordination with a caliper bracket that Hot Rods manufactures, achieves a zero offset for the setup. Good luck.
