It's definately not CPU...We're barely touching the power of the CPU's. I'll be making changes tomorrow night and over the weekend to try and address the issues.

Brent,

Thanks and I am sorry for all the complaints. I just don't understand why it worked so fast and no problems of any kind for the first couple of days and now all of a sudden I seem to hit every type of possible problem. And as I have stated, the first problem I had was the day you put the Nav Bar back in. There is no set circumstances such as just changing forums, posting, or anything at all to go on. Before the Nav Bar mine would work like it used to except faster. I would submit a post and the green bars would just zip across and the post was in. Now even when it works then first green bar comes on, it pauses for a second, and than when it works then rest will start, but sometimes they get almost all the way across and then go back and start over and put the post in. Other times as I mentioned it is like the whole page does a refresh and dumps me for just a split second, comes back up and puts the post in or takes me to the Forum I want to go to. That pause at the first green bar is what I can't get. It never did that before and I can now tell as soon as it pauses if I am going to have to disconnect or if it is going to finally put the post in. Then about once out of every so many posts it will just zip across like it used to.
If you want to call me and come into my computer on the remote like Ron did to see if it will happen I would be happy to work with you at any time. Ron made a couple of test posts and it just paused for a second and went in and then the site went off line.

testing
testing, testing, .....
EDIT: still slow.....

I can go to another browser tab and see that my post is there while it is still posting on the first tab.

And another report from Post # 10 in this thread. "Not to pile on.
I have been seeing similar problems. From my laptop (Windows XP and the latest Explorer, my desktop (Windows XP latest Firefox 2.0.0.xx), and my work Sun Sparc (Solaris 10 and Firefox 2.0.0.8). My Sparc is on a different network than my personal machines.

This would almost seem to be what I feel is happening. It is like two different sets of software are trying to post the same thing at the same time and are either clashing with each other until one gets kicked off or they just hang and won't time out or let me do anything until I drop off the net and then come back on. When mine are hung I can pull up Task Manager and it just shows one item and states that it is running and is posting to CC in whichever Forum I am in.

Edit: Ok, when I hit submit this post started with the first green bar, paused for almost 10 seconds and I thought it wasn't going to go, then it acted as if it had refreshed the page, everything blinked for a minute and it started over with an empty bar line at the bottom and then went in like it should. I have had this happen after it got up to three or four of the green bars also so it doesn't seem to have anything to do with load as this is early and there is very few people on.

Ok, another weird thing. I had a post start and then stop like they have been and just set. Instead of backing out to open Task Manager, I did it with the post still showing partly loaded. In Task Manager I had two entries. One said Loading Post on CC. The other said Post on CC Not Responding. I then exited the Internet and just logged back op and came back onto the CC site and everything is working great.

Ron
