2015 Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet Registration is now OPEN!

The online event and hotel room reservations for the 2015 Texas Cobra Club is now up and running. Please go to Texas Cobra Meet to register for the event. There is a tab for hotel room reservation. As in the past our block of rooms gives a discounted room rate but the deadline for getting the discounted rate ends at the end of February. We have more rooms reserved this year than in the past.

Not all of the details for the event have been confirmed so check back on the website for updates and additional new information.

This event has grown ever year to be one of the premier Cobra events in the world. Please join us in San Marcos, Texas, March 25-29th. We promise you will have a blast.

See you in March!!

Ken,

I have seen many pictures of your last years event and it was really good. And I know of at least one person who is finishing his Cobra and plans to drive it to the event. I wish I could attend as it looks like a really great event and with great food available.

Ron :)

Fantastic, can't wait. This is a great event and I've been watching for the sign up announcement.

I expect you'll post the information for the track event when you have it.

KSW64 11-26-2014 09:27 AM

Thanks, Ron, for the compliment. Our little show has grown much larger than we ever expected. Wish you go join but, believe me, I understand. We had several cars from CA last year. Maybe y'all come join forces and get a car transport.

KEN

Dallas,
it will be a month or so before we determine the details for the Track event. In any event, there will be photographer on hand again this year so you can make another magazine cover!!

would love to attend , I will have my BDR by then, but my schedule say's I am working :(

Ron61 11-28-2014 04:53 AM

Ken,

We have one person here that is thinking about flying back to attend this years event. He lives right by Merle Haggard and I live about a 20 minute drive from him. Used to see Merle around here all the time but after the big tax mess he is pretty much busy now. If you have it next year, that joining forces and getting a car transport sounds like a good idea to me. Charles has been posting videos of your last years event and it really makes us want to attend.

Ron ;)

I want to attend. I would be driving, but what do most folks do with their cars at night?

Clois Harlan 01-13-2015 12:18 PM

Last year was great but I think several of us are renting Hallett that weekend. Plan on putting my granddaughter on the track to teach her some driving skills.

MParrott,
Most folks bring car covers and leave their car out overnight. We have armed off-duty sheriff's deputies onsite from 9pm-7am each night. If you have an enclosed trailer you can always use it as mini garages. In 7 years of holding the event in San Marcos, we have not had a single incident involving the cars overnight.

MParrott,
If you drive in, bring a car cover. That's it. We will have off duty Hayes County Sheriffs officers for security.

Ken,
Thanks for the update.

Looks like we need a few more cars for the track event.

If you have never tracked your car before, the Harris Hill event is a great place to do so.

Who hasn't wanted to push their car a little bit, but don't want to risk a ticket or worse doing that on public roads?

They send the cars out in small groups by experience level. This is not wheel to wheel racing, it's just a safe way to drive your car faster than you can on the street. It's just for fun. And man is it fun!

Just need about 7 or 8 more guys to sign up.

John
