This sounds like a neat event, however a lot of the North Texas Cobras are going to be in the Yellow Rose Car Show in Ft. Worth this weekend.

Vernon is approximately 55 miles west of Wichita Falls on 287. (I would like to come to your meetings if not for the distance.)
The rooms book up a year in advance. You could come for the day or try to find a place to stay in Quanah, 30 miles west or Altus, OK, 35 miles north. This is its 11th year and it's a big deal around here. Let me know if I can help you find accomodations or register. The actual cruise is limited to 1,000 cars. Hope of some of you can make it. Bring plenty of water - it usually hot! I think Tom was here last year. Thanks, Todd |
I was there the year before last. A lot of neet cars. It's ok to be on the streets untill about 9 to 9:30, then the CRAZY'S come out. But two hours of cruisin isn't half bad.
