Your thoughts would be appreciated

I am trying to figure out which one I like better. I posted some pics in the gallery of my inner doors and the proposed patterns I am thinking about.

If you wouldnt mind going and taking a look at the two different designs there and let me know which one you like the best.

The inner doors will be glassed in smooth and the blue section you see in the pictures will be painted to match the car. The black section will be carpeted or upholstered to match the floor and tunnel.

you can either post your thoughts here on the thread or just make comments on the pictures.

Thanks in advance

Gene

If you look at the two lines you might notice that the passenger side door matches the console and tunnel line. The black line drops down at a 60* angle and then goes back to match the angle of the tunnel.

The driver door drops straight down then angles down at a 45* and then straight back.

The blue would be painted and the black would be carpeted.

Personally, I like the passenger door better, but it could look a lot different in person. I think knowing it matches the tunnel angle makes me believe it is more aesthetically pleasing as I really didn't notice a difference before reading the more detailed description.

Thank you Joe. I probably should have put a more detailed description before hand huh..lol. I asked some buddys to come check it out and that was general idea as well. The more I looked at it I decided to go with the passenger side because it matches the console and tunnel. Now the task of finishing it when the weather gets a bit warmer.

Thanks again

Right now I just wish I had one to work on, I would work on it in the cold for right now because I want it so bad that I couldn't keep myself out of the garage. Good luck with it, and I hope that you post updates when it warms up.

Hi Gene
I think you made the right choice
Looks like you are making good progress even in this cold damp weather.

Hey Bruce...good to hear from you. Im making some progress. The day was warm enough yesterday to lay a little glass on the dash...but I did have to put the lights on it for some heat when I was done.

Hey Joe my wife thinks Im nuts cause I'll work on it at night when its colder than hell doing the things that dont require any heat..sanding,grinding etc. The other night it was about 40* degrees in the shop and i was sanding away when I felt this wet running down through my beard. Condensation was building up inside my respirator and running down my chin...lol. I literaly had to pour the water out.

I'll post some new pics next week. Thanks guys

Gene
