American Muscle Car
Anyone have the American Muscle Car episode for the Cobra? I've tried catching it on TV but haven't been successful. I almost bought the video set but couldn't decide on the third video in the collection I'd get.
If you've seen it, is it any good? Worth getting? Thanks, - Ado |
I've seen it, and it is rather boring, in my opinion. To me, it came of as an Everette-Morrison thing. That's really about they only cars they show. No good performance footage. Just some car shots, and a bunch of guys hanging around the E-M facility. I may be mis-remembering some details. I know that after seeing it I said to myself "what a joke" and was not interested in the video.
Pardon my cynicism, but if it does not come from GM, then American Muscle Car does not care about it. |

Yeah, I saw it a while ago. It was more of a kit car thing than the story behind the shelby Cobras and their place on the road and in history like the other cars they have done.
On a slightly different note, if anyone has the show on the 390 AMX, I would pay your cost for a tape and mail if you could make me a copy. My 16 year old son bought a 390 AMX this spring, and we would like to have the show on this car. Ed |
You can buy the shows from American Muscle Car at 866.5.MUSCLE. You get 2 shows per tape and it's like $15 or $19 a tape or 3 tapes for $39... something like that...
