Vintage Racing @ ECR, May 14-16
Well, it's that time of year again:
________________________________________ VINTAGE AUTO RACING Vintage auto racing comes to Eagles Canyon Raceway, about 12 miles north of Decatur, on May 15th and 16th, with practice on Friday 14th. There will be races for Corvettes, Trans-Am sedans, Formula V and Formula Ford, plus European sports cars like Porsche, MG, Jaguar, Triumph, Alfa Romeo and Fiat. Eagles Canyon Raceway is a road racing track that simulates the bends and curves of country roads, as opposed to the banked ovals familiar to NASCAR fans. Tickets are available at the gate for $10 per car. Spectators are welcome and are encouraged to bring classic cars. People driving vintage or classic cars (pre-1973) will get in for ½ price.
