I don't know about that, but Charles Roybal is in El Paso. He is on here quite a bit. He is in the members list. He just retired. He might just drive down to visit.

hey Nick and Holt, we are planning a trip to Van Horn to meet with Charles and the rest for a Sunday Lunch sometime this month , I will keep you informed. We just finished putting a new radiator in Steve's tonight, it developed a leak in the core. Also if you know anyone looking for a Cobra, Jack is thinking of selling his Lone star Classic with a stroked 427 FE. It is a nice car.

I ordered new studs from Wilwood for the pedal assembly today. If we can get it all fixed up before then, my brother and I may be interested. However, I think replacing the studs is just a short term solution, and may not be all that reliable.

Well I hope it will work, what brand of kit do you have?
Maybe we could help fix it down here.

The entire brake system is Wilwood. Details of a pedal assembly that is VERY similar to ours can be found HERE.
One of the six studs that support the 3 master cylinders broke. Should have the studs here by Monday, I think.
We would take any help that's offered! My brother seems to think were gonna need a press to replace the studs. We'll see.

Studs replaced and all cylinders mounted to the pedal assembly. Now we just have to connect the cylinder plungers to the pedals. Much easier said than done, considering there's only room down there to work with one hand....
However, it's only a temporary solution.

good luck Holt, make sure the nuts are good and tight and the cylinders are flush with the mounting bracket and maybe it will work good.
Looking foward to see you all, I am fixing a leak in the front cover of my cobra right now.
