Been so out of it!

I have been MIA for a while now. Been very busy at work, it was too dang hot for no top/AC, and there have been plenty of PCA events to keep me on the track in my little spare time.

The outcome? My friggin inspection has expired and my new shrouded fan (many thanks to Jim for helping me fabricate and install it) has actually caused my cruising temp to go way up (near 220!). (sigh)

It is the same fan/shroud that Woodard has on his car. Anyone got any ideas why the temp would go UP instead of down after replacing the lower-CFPM, unshrouded fan I had before?

Is the fan pushing or pulling? I saw this happen once when the rear fans (engine side) are PUSHING when they should be pulling... The person also had front fans that were pushing and they effectively cancelled each other out.... Just a guess, though

Good luck, Hill

Originally, it was running backwards...

...but we fixed it.

Maybe I should rewire it to run backwards intentionally. Maybe it would cool more effectively that way.
