I would suggest taking all the hubs/adapters and pins apart just to see what's what. They should never come apart like that.

You know, the cost difference on the ERA cars to upgrade to the six pin, one-piece hubs over that of the Trigo or Vintage five pin adapters is about a thousand bucks -- that's $250 a wheel. This thread was really one of the more "scary" break down threads; it easily could have turned out much, much worse (it's not like " my car keeps overheating"). By any chance do the newer cars offer a six pin option? You know, we've seen more than a couple of threads in the last few years dealing with 5-pins cracking and after reading this thread a thousand bucks doesn't seem like much at all.%/ |

No update yet. I am TDY and I havent had a chance to contact vintage wheels. Tomorrow I should have a few details or at least contact Vintage Wheels. You guiys are right it was a good day. Just not one I was planning on happening.

Wow Gregg, I am glad your OK. I just now saw this thread.
I am wondering here. I know on Aluminum wheels we have to go back and re-torque them after a few miles. Does the same hold true for Knock Offs? I don't know.
Were they too tight? Did it skin up the pipes as well?
