Rubber coating in DFW
I'm looking for some place that can rubber coat (dip, wrap, shrink, whatever) parts. I actually want to dip the top part of my jack stands so they quit scratching axles and frame rails. I just don't want to duct tape carpet to the tops...... little too white trash look for me.

If you clean them up and leave them with your LineX dealer he might spray them gratis when he is emptying his gun. I think it would adhere better than the dips I have seen.

How about some poly covers for your stands? Check this out:

Clean the tops thoroughly and run a few beads of silicone over all contact surfaces and let dry.
They will no longer scratch or slip. Craig |
I don't know of a business that does it, but have you tried or thought about this?

Joe .... I tried the retail rubber dip before on a pad and the weight of the car tore the material up pretty easily. Jim ..... Just saw your post. I just saw the same product type in Summit, but too late. But I do like this for the floor jack: Prothane Jack Pads - Summit Racing.com |
