Ended up not going as forecast looked pretty hot 95 at 8pm so ended up going up to a friends house on Lake Lewisville and watched the fireworks from the Highland Village Red, White and Blue festival they have every year in June. We did get some pics from his brother that went to the cruise in his grocery getter and looked like some nice cars showed up....

Was a lot of fun--it never ceases to amuse me how much attention these cars get. We might get a group together next time.
