Welcome to Texas, Matt! You're home now.
Nice FFR. What year model, engine? |
Welcome to Texas, Matt! Nice car. I'm looking forward to seeing it the last weekend in March in San Marcos at the Texas Cobra Club Meet. The Dallas Guys will be by soon and the will tell you about it.

Welcome to the D/FW area Matt.
There are several FFR's here locally, you'll fit right in. The Dallas group gets together on the 1st Saturday of each month. Great group of guys. Keep an eye on this section of the forum, there is usually a post on Wednesday or Thursday just prior setting the time and location. See you around... John |
We look forward to meeting you Matt--welcome to Texas!

Welcome Matt,
If you are going to be in the Plano, Allen & McKinney area you will have at least a dozen or so cars within a stones throw. Watch this thread on a regular basis there will be a lot more activities this fall, when it gets a little cooler, than the regular monthly gathering on the 1st Saturday. We do a lot of spur of the moment cruises and in October we like to cruise down to the National BBQ Cookoff in Meridian, TX The National Championship Barbecue Cookoff 1. See you soon..... Bwana Gary |
Welcome Matt,
You will enjoy the Dallas Group. A great bunch of guys that like to have fun. Let us know if you need any help. Jack |
Welcome, Matt!
Beautiful car. You are on your way to being a native Texan. It requires 10-years of sustained Texas residence, a pair of cowboy boots, and a nice belt buckle. And tho it is not part of the official Native Texan repertoire, I think anyone who wants to be a native Texan should have to go to a BUCK-EEs in Texas and explain all of the people in there. |
You should have brought cooler weather with you...........
|
Welcome
Hey "Tar Heel"
Welcome to Texas! You're going to love living here. Try and make it out to the September breakfast meeting. You'll find several FFR owners, and a lot of really great guys and gals. Tell us about your car and yourself. |
Welcome, Matt! I'm in McKinney. We have a very active local DFW club. We use this forum to communicate, so you have found us. Here's a tip to get you started on being Texan ... when people ask you what shade of red your stripes are ... the correct answer is "Aggie Maroon":LOL:

Welcome Matt....I'm in Frisco, suburb just north of Plano. Looking forward to meeting you but watch out for this group:LOL:
|
Welcome to Texas Matt! Don't worry, it is not always 100 degrees here.....it gets only to 99 sometimes.

Hi Matt
1st - you'll have to straighten everyone out - You may be from the Tar Heel, but you can't possibly be a Tar Heel... Maybe a fellow Wolfpack - they know cars. 2nd - Welcome, I made the journey in '83. Been here since. July, Aug, and Sept are pretty rough weather wise, but I am hoping you left the humidity behind. Francis Fellow Carolinian.. (Raleigh area)- Now in Plano |
Welcome Matt.
I'm in Prosper w/FFR coupe. Hope to see you at the next breakfast. Jeff |
Welcome Matt. Hope to see you at breakfast Sat... We dont have the "Dragon's tail" here, but we do have Talimena Scenic Drive about 4 hours North..
Guys, Have we picked a spot for Sat yet?? Kells Kitchen? Forest and Tollway? 8:00 am?? Should be 75 - 80 that early.... Shawn |
