Eastsiders will go up DN Tollroad to HWY 380 west to Denton, use 380 bypass north to I35E, south to next exit, back west on HWY 380 to HWY 156 and go south to Ponder.

Depending on the time, but count me in for one. I'm testing the Mustang as a guest at ECR Saturday. 22 miles away.

Anybody want to drop by the track? I talked to the track manager, and if there are no bikes running that day, I can get everyone some parade laps. (Nothing "at speed"). If there are bikes running, she will let us on at 12:00 noon.

If not, wait until San Marcos. Which is "at speed".

SSSammy 02-02-2012 12:12 PM

I plan to attend. Steve, I am also interested in the ECR track tour if that happens.

I'm in and would like to check out the track also.

CowtownCobra 02-02-2012 05:59 PM

Ponder? Sounds great. One or two, can't say for sure

jredford 02-02-2012 07:51 PM

Count me in for two and a park'n space...i'll bring my oldest son to check out some of the best cars on the road...**)

Eldorado 02-02-2012 07:59 PM

In for two

jshel1 02-03-2012 01:39 PM

Gentlemen,

I am hooking up with Steve early, and our rendezvous with you all at Ranchman's Cafe is tentative based upon the weather, timeline at ECR, etc. We will call Sam as you all are in-route regarding availability and timeline for parade laps.

I was saving a couple of announcements for lunch, but in case Steve and I are unable to make Ponder to have lunch with the group, I am going to lay them out here and now.

The trackday at H2R, set for the Friday of the San Marcos Meet, has 25 affirmative replies. Of those affirmative replies, 16 have registered and paid.
- Thanks loads to all from TCC-DFW, CVAR, and Rod-Benders Race Team !!
- Those who wish to participate and not yet signed up, please do so at your earliest convenience.
- If you have any friends with vintage performance machines, please download the flyer from the registration website and circulate it to them.
- In addition to Valero's founder support, they are offering another $50 donation to OC for every additional registration beyond 25.

Lastly, it seems to me CC has gone down the past few Saturday's for a spell. This may have posed last minute difficulty to some heading out the door to one of the DFW gatherings, namely things like exactly where we are going to meet and when. If anyone is seeking a fail-safe or mobile solution for date, time, and a map, you will find updated info at the JSHEL1 homepage.
Please let me know your thoughts or if you experience any bugs.

John

I'm a newby, but you can put me down for 2 people. Is it still scheduled for 10:30?

jshel1 02-03-2012 05:13 PM

10:30 was the last I heard, per Bwana. Hope to see some/all of you one way or another.

Madmiles442 02-03-2012 06:02 PM

Can't make it tomorrow, fellas. As part of the Parkland construction, I'll be closing down Harry Hines and herding a 2-crane skybride lift and demo. Hope they don't drop the damn thing... haha!
I miss the gang and hope to catch up soon!

bwcobra15 02-03-2012 07:30 PM

Sounds like a blast, but Ponder is 66.2 miles from the Worley homestead so I think I'll stay home tomorrow and work on my garage renovation in preparation for an upcoming project...
