Carroll Shelby Tribute At Kellers - Friday Night June 8th
I heard a bunch supporting Forest Lane Cruise Reunion, this Saturday night June 9th, were going to Kellers Friday night and came across this today.................
__________________________________________________ ____________ Woodrow alums and Dallas fans will remember Woodrow, Dallas, Texas, US and World Automotive Genius Carroll Shelby with a rally starting at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 8 at Keller’s Drive-In on Northwest Highway. Mr. Shelby died last month at age 89. This is the night prior to the Forest Lane Cruise Night Reunion. Host Jack Keller graduated from Woodrow three years after Mr. Shelby. If you know someone with a Shelby car or connection, please invite them to attend. The event will be held informally in the rear parking area. Carroll Shelby was grand marshal for the parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of Woodrow Wilson High School in 2009. He was a member of the class of 1940. |
