Red's Roadhouse - DFW
Hello Texas! Anybody out there? Seems pretty quiet around here, is everybody hibernating for winter?
Hey I thought I would throw out an idea for a possible DFW monthly meeting location. Its on the south side, midpoint between Big D and CowTown, in Kennedale on old hwy 287. www.facebook.com/RedsRoadhouse www.redsroadhouse.com They have a large amount of space, great food, and cool stuff hanging on the walls ;) The also have a private banquet room available. Anneliese and I talked to the manager and they were very open to having the cobra club come out. Last fall they were having cruise nights, car shows for classic rides. I know my cobra is still a long way off from being on the road (i'm still getting used to just saying 'my cobra') - so I don't want a full-fledged vote. I'm just suggesting Red's. |
I drove by Red's today on the way to Smiley's racing. I was thinking the same thing it is a good place to meet and have a cold beverage. Kennedale police like to stop you for just about anything though, just my opinion having grown up a few miles from there.
Maybe we will have more days like last Friday...soon! please! |
Ah, yes Dave - I forgot to mention the legendary Kennedale po-pos. I take my Mustang to Lone Star Performance just a few lots down from Reds. The owner Jason has a modified '07 GT500 and he warned warned me about their zero tolerance for misbehavior. But that wouldn't stop me from going to Red's. Just be aware...
