Save the Date: Saturday June 22, 2013
A lot of great events between now and this date in June, but want to get word out so anyone interested can mark their calendars.
LEGACY TEXAS BANK SHELBY MEET will be June 22nd this year. The 2013 event will be the 4th annual gathering organized by Aaron and his staff at Legacy Texas. Last year's meet coincided with Shelby American's 50th Anniversary Tour stop in Dallas. I have enjoyed this event each of the three previous years, in hanging out with other vintage and modern Shelby enthusiasts from far and near, as well as meeting and spending time with Lew Spencer and Bill Neale. This is always a well publicized event in the Dallas local media, bringing many lay people out to ogle our cars. As well, Aaron's crew at Legacy puts together a healthy goody bag and catered lunch for all showing their cars. See you all when I see you, but definitely March 2nd in the Dallas area, and April 3rd - 7th somewhere along the roads of the Texas Hill Country. |
