Another great Dallas meeting !!
We had a pretty good time today. Quite a few people and cars showed up on a beautiful 82 degree day in Dallas! Thanks setting the meeting up Mr. Plants!
Thanks for driving down to join us, Trent (Okiesnake). Beautiful Unique you got there! Here are a few pictures.. |
I think I missed one car in the pictures... The great yellow and black FFR... Sorry Rich:confused:
I also had hoped to get a closer shot of the Dax from Germany (notice the fangs on the front hoop -- great idea!), hopefully at the next meeting! |
You can tell by this picture just how upset everyone was that Tom Meadows did not bother to show up for the meeting (some lame excuse of vacationing in Vegas)

Great pictures of a great day for the Texas Cobra Club-Dallas chapter!
James,
Great pictures of a REALLY GREAT DAY for our November meeting of the Dallas Chapter of the Trxas Cobra Club!! We had about a dozen Cobras slither in from all over the WORLD- Texas, Oklahoma & Germany- for this meeting with about 30 people in attendance. Kudos certainly go to "little greg" for setting up the new meeting place, which is a VERY impressive sports bar with a wonderful patio that they had set up for us with full view of the cars. We had some new members come to our Club-Okiesnake, thanks for driving down to have lunch with us, we now have the first DAX( from Germany) that I have ever seen, and we have a Yellow w/black stripes FFR that is very well done that have joined our ever-growing ranks. Dick, sorry I missed coming by to see your dream-come-true, but I WILL see it soon, & I will be more than happy to help you when/if you need it. Boys, I have a VERY STRONG FEELING we can hit the 50 car mark at the Texas Cobra Club third Annual Meeting to be held in February 2002. This is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! John R. SPF#586 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D |
Vegas
Jeannie, I'm still single, I didn't get married in Vegas. I fell in love several times!
I sure did miss not seeing everyone! ;) Love your GUY's and Gal's Your Prez Me |
I had a great time. Well worth the trip.

Tom,
You made Jeannie's day! She dreads the day she looses you to another. Especially a tabletop dancing, topless, blonde Vegas entertainer!..... Especially if it is another woman! :p |
James here is a pic of Rich A and his Yellow/Black Factory Five. Gordan Levy knows how to build a nice ride.

Sorry I missed the meet guys! I've been a bit distracted. On a positive note, I did finally get my Cobra. It is blue without stripes. It has flag stone edging and an automatic vacuum. On the negative side, it looks kind of like a swimming pool and it takes about 4 months to go from zero to sixty (degrees that is). Yep, that's right. Had a pool installed, as well as full landscaping. Grand total of about one SPF with a nice 351W and Tremec TKO.
In making my decision, I consulted my uncle. He has had a pool for over 15 years. He said if he had it to do all over again, he would. The reason was because he knew where his kids were all the time and also knew all of their friends. Being a father of two girls, this seemed like a good idea to me too. Besides that, I think the wife and daughters will enjoy riding in the pool far more than a Cobra. My day will come, I guess it is just going to have to be another 5-10 years though. Oh, on a side note. For those who haven't heard much out of our good friend Robert Barr, it is because he moved to South Carolina. Best wishes Boss man! |
Party??
Q, sounds like a party to me!!!!
|
When it warms up, ya'll will have to bring your cars and some swim trunks (scary thought) up to Frisco for some burgers and beer.
|
Hmmmm.... Tom in a swimsuit?
