SCAT meeting Tues. Nov. 20th..ELECTIONS...WE NEED EVERYONE!
Ya'll requested that I start posting this early so here it is. Next Tuesday night the 20th is the November SCAT meeting. We will be voting on our new officers and board of directors. We need everyone there to make this thing come out like we want. Bring your wives if possible as they can vote also.Bring any new members also as there are strength in numbers. We can win this thing if we band together. It could be a CIRCUS or a ZOO....but will definately be a 2 margaritta night for ME!!

Russell has made it very clear to me that I'll be there. So much so,that he's giving me the limo ride in the beast. See you all ther and we will vote HEAVY on the Cobra side.

Tom, as to your comment, If the "actual" verbage from the bylaws is what Gary wrote in the last newsletter, then you are incorrect.If the "actual" verbage is indeed different in that the word "sit" replaced the word "nominated", then you are correct. However, this would raise another problem, in which a member attended the required number of meetings"to be nominated to sit" on the board, then once elected, attended none!I do not believe that was the intent, & therefore I assume that what Gary wrote was correct. I WILL attend more than the minimum IF elected as this gives me a valid reason to miss 1 BoyScout meeting a month, but if it IS a pre-requisite, then I believe the bylaws are flawed.
