Serpent Express / or Enclosed trailer needed in Houston
 

I am tired of dealing with these shipping companies and their continually delays. I am investigating anyone in the Houston area with an enclosed trailer or serpent express. I need it for 3 days. Houston to Georgia and back to pick up a SPF. I rather give the rental to someone here if possible. Rental I was quoted was $295 but it is a huge 24 foot trailer. I would rather use 20 foot or smaller. Option two is leave Friday with a U-Haul car carrier since no rain is expected for 3 days but would like to knock it out before the thanksgiving. Rain is expected the next 4 days so need enclosed.

The value to me of giving my money to anybody but them is priceless:)

The company was $150 more than anyone else but indicated they would pick it up last week. Yet they still say "a couple more days", last I checked there were 7 days in the week and none had the name "a couple more days":LOL:

Even with me going both ways at 10 mpg, paying hotel, fuel I am still $300 cheaper factoring in $300 rental on a trailer. Not enough money to worry about but you see what they make.

I have hauled numerous trailers including a serpent express from Michigan to Houston.


Appreciate any help as I am held captive by these shippers. The good news is the first week of December they are all available.

Got a PM from a fellow member and he set me up with another transport. WOW!!! should be picked up Monday and saved some $$$$. Hopefully it will all work out. If it does I will post the bad shipper and the good shipper.
