Ok Jim,

A picture is worth a thousand words but I need more:D

Tell me just what me and my broken Cobra missed.

Thank you guys for trying to help me out and get her going. I did get her home and she will be completly disassembled within the next couple of days.

Ouch... well it could have been the fact that it was Thanksgiving weekend.

It was a beautiful day with perfect weather. The cruise route was over back roads with rolling hills through farms with old barns and white rail fences. One farm that raises miniture donkeys is called "Half ass farms" (I didn't make that up).

Round Top is a quaint touristy place with lots of B&Bs, antique shops, and great food. We parked in front of the restaurant in the spaces marked "Harley parking only". We were disappointed no bikers showed up to challenge us.

We took the opportunity to trade seats frequently during the ride. That is really interesting because every Cobra is so different. We had an original Cobra (600 hp turbo 5.0), a Lone Star (very warm 302), and two Everett-Morrisons (428s) (counting Dennis' EM).

Dennis, I was glad to hear you made it home with your ride OK. Sorry you had to miss the trip. It was a great ride! The food at Royer's cafe was wonderful. I will make another trip out there just to eat even if I have to ride a bicylce (yea right!).

I think I sold my Cobra this morning to a guy in Toronto. I will miss the car but I will still be around. I will probably build something else in the near future and my buddy is about one month away from completing his CMC Cobra. I am sure he will want to go to some of the Cobra events.

As for getting yours going again... do you need any help? Give me a yell and I can help you out.

Randy
