Cooper Clinic car show....
Car show...Sunday June 1....
Anybody have a plan together? Eating before? Time of arrival at the show? Any info on if we have a parking spot?:JEKYLHYDE |
Show time is 10am - 3pm. Exhibitor cars arrive between 8:30am and 10:00am.
I sent an email today to the organizer to see if they can reserve an area for our group. Looks like SCAT has some cars coming: Autos in the Park, Cooper Aerobics Center 2014: - DFW Auto Club Forums I plan on being at Torchy's on Preston @ 8am, this should give us enough time to assemble and grab some breakfast, then head towards Cooper around 9am at the latest ??? So who's in ??? Mike |

I heard back from Jack Griffin, he will reserve a spot for us.
If its 5-6 cars, we will park on the grass just to your left after you cross the bridge. We will be across the driveway from SCAT. Enter at the southern most entrance off Preston (Willow Lane), proceed 50 yards to bridge, park on your left. He would like all groups to set up an area by 8:15am. I will go early and find our spot. He suggested trying to be there by 9am at the latest or the line to get in gets long. If it's more than 5 - 6 cars, he will move us to another location TBD, but in the general area close to SCAT. Could everyone that is attending chime in so I can give Jack a headcount? Sounds like a good show, they are expecting 200+ cars. Mike. |

We had 6 cobras show today. Lot's of shady trees to keep cool, SCAT had lunch for us, a nice variety of top notch cars, helped out Scottish Rite Hospital for kids, and Don took home a trophy for pre-80's American cars. I plan on coming back next year.
