D/FW Area - Need Headers Coated

Any recommendations on a local shop that can coat a set of headers?

Ceramic, Nitroplate, Jet-Hot. Will consider any and all.

Thanks! :)

John

Jet Hot

Jet Hot in OKC. You can box them up and ship them. I'm guessing about $350 to coat. They give a lifetime guarantee, and it doesn't matter how they got damaged. I have had mine done twice. And I carried my side pipes up there to save having to make boxes. Nice people. Tip: the polished silver ceramic (aluminum) finish oxidizes and turns dull after a few months.

I used Specialized Performance Coating in Arlington. Michael is the contact.

I used Quality Powder Coating in Carrollton. Recoated my old headers and made them look new. Don't recall the cost.

I am not sure who Car Chemistry in Waxahachie 972/937-7735 is using for their coatings, but it is holding up better than any I have tried before. Four years old and still look like new.

Nope

Have them ceramic coated over by my shop. Just three blocks away. Fast turn around. Usually 2-3 days and great work. Very reasonable pricing. I will edit this post with contact info after lunch.

Thanks guys, good suggestions. I appreciate it.
Since they are so close, I went with Jay's suggestion.
The pipes are at the coaters now.

I've used Jet Hot in OKC before. Mush Tullos was the guy there, but he is gone now. He was fantastic to work with. Very happy with what they did for me before.

Second that.

I just had my side pipes done at Crosslink. Talked to Rich, the owner down here in Cedar Hill. He took them up to dallas to do the coating, and brought them back for me. Very nice job.

They did the side pipes for $350.

We have a Crosslink Powder Coating in McGregor, just west of Waco. Is that the same company?
