First Saturday Meet for July....
Ok kids, we knocked around some ideas at the Forest Lane cruise night. We were talking about meeting in Plano.
I think the Rustic in Dallas is a bad idea till after the World Cup is over. Everywhere is a madhouse at 10am. Here is the time to put in your 2 cents. GO.... |
Well the US lost and are out, so the crowds should drop considerably.....
Kevin..... |
I think we were discussing the Brickhouse in Plano (Preston and Park) at the Forest Lane Cruise Saturday night. Could meet there at 10:30am. If anyone wants to run by Cars & Coffee earlier this would also work as the Brickhouse is only 10 mins away.
|
Well, it's only Tuesday ... but as far as I know, I am free at that time  I am good with Brickhouse. I will need a Margarita IV if we do it on the patio :MECOOL:

Coming from Haslet I may need to stop for fuel a couple of times to get there but will make a go at it. When does the meeting place rotate out west?

No Cars and Coffee for me till it cools off. |

I am also doing C&C, I am 50/50 on Brickhouse ...
Kevin, Pete: I start at Einsteins Bagels on W.Parker and Tollway (SE corner) around 6:30am and roll over to C&C around 7am. I usually park on row 8 area at C&C, it's a good central location. Mike |
We can go west next month

In the morning at about 7.15 am the lot at Cars and Coffee was packed already. By 10 am 90% of the cars were gone. We had in the beginning 4 cars - two ore came a little later.
Also there was one with which had battery problems and the BMW guys helped him with a jump start. As we walked to his car he mentioned he had this car for a year now and some guys recommended if he take it to the track he had to change the camber to get a different erection. THAT was funny!!!!:D:LOL::D.... The same guys told him he need a screen to protect his radiator and the car is too high. I asked him if these "specialist on cobras" own and drive one, no he replied. That with the screen is nonsense and his car has a nice stance. Needless to mention the subject changing the camber came up a few times with a great laughter hahahahaha. Lunch at the BrickHouse was good and it was nice to see you motor heads. 'til next time be safe. http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...e/DSC09528.JPG http://photos.imageevent.com/germanp...e/DSC09530.JPG |
Pete, I have done some road racing in a Cobra. I think a degree or two of negative camber on the front is ok and will help in hard cornering. The rock screen is not necessary if one always stays in front of the other competitors ... :MECOOL:
And as always, if the camber change produces an erection lasting longer than four hours, see your doctor! Hope this helps :D http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...C-_110_med.JPG Sam |
