Scottsdale, AZ Good Guy Results

The results are in, I beat Robbie Unser and Little Al Unser jr. I lost to Kyle Tucker (CEO of Detroit Speed). I actually had a quicker raw time but hit a cone.

You run two days and take your best time over the two days. I only ran on Friday as I broke both motor mounts late Friday and had to stand on my time.

Car will be repaired and adjusted prior to this weekends Good Guys event at TMS.

Sorry, but I stopped recording my runs years ago. I found the process took my attention away from what I was actually there for.....

Smart thinking Kevin. I might have done the same. It is nice to watch those videos though to watch driver technique.

If you're beating those guys, you need to be racing Indy Cars or NASCAR's!
Then we can say that we knew you back when you raced Cobra's!! **)

But we all know that the only thing better than driving a Cobra is racing a Cobra. :)

That is true!

I'm not allowed to race or even do a track day because the damn insurance company won't cover the car once it drives on to any part of a racetrack's property.
I'm not sure what the big deal is, I won't file a claim with them unless I get into a wreck? What's the worst that can happen?

That is what the cheap blue car is for, if you jack it up you just shrug your shoulders and move on....

Isn't the case with any car? I was under the impression that if you crack up your Mustang, 911, Prius, etc, at a track that was all on you.

Way to go Kevin,

Impressive!! Good luck at Good Guys DFW.

Surprised those heavyweights didn't balk at your "cheatin' a$$ for bringing' a Cobra." They probably figured you would have such understeer issues, and the cone count would be so high, that the issue would take care of itself. Little did they know...

Look for me on Saturday; I will be wearing a black t-shirt.

John
