Tight Ends is the best! I am going to Edge Addicts in Austin at COTA for a track day on Saturday and Sunday Is anyone else going to the track to run their car? |
I'm game, but I also want to go to Good Guys at TMS on Saturday. I guess I can do the 300 mile round trip around the MetroMess ....

I just changed the cam on my car yesterday and if I get the timing issue resolved I will be racing in the Pro Class this weekend (Fri/Sat) at the Good Guys event.

I asked the insurance company if there was any coverage on the street car and they said no I told them thanks WTH? They really only want to insure cars if they are sitting in your garage and not being driven! Lol :JEKYLHYDE |
So any thought on going somewhere with a nice patio since the weather is going to be so nice Saturday? Don't mind Tight Ends as it is really close to my house (although my car probably wouldn't even get to operating temp) but be nice to have lunch on a nice patio. Just a thought........

I had an alternate idea I discussed with El Presidente, but I am late posting....
the idea: Goodguys is at TMS F/S/S this weekend. we could have lunch then drive over there or drive there and meet up with West Group, Eat, then go to TMS. It's the show, swap meet and autocross event. Plus I am told that we might be able to lap TMS in the cobras (obviously not racing). we can make a day/event out of it. We could do Tight Ends anytime, but this is a specific dated event. Any thoughts? Francis |

That being said, I’m out on the TMS endeavor… can’t commit to the whole day. Good Guys is pretty cool for those with the time or who haven’t been before. Here are details on entry: https://www.good-guys.com/lsn-2016 Laps around the oval begin towards the end of each day (5:00pm) and are pace-car capped at 55mph. Never been to Tight Ends, and rectifying that fact would probably be my preference. |
Goodguys it really cool idea. If you never have been, you should check it out. Might make Tight Ends. Jammed pretty tight Saturday on time.

Ok.....Tight Ends it is at 10:30am and eat at 11:00am. We could also cruise up to the Cobra Brewery in Lewisville after lunch if anyone is interested. TMS is out for me also as I have dinner commitment Saturday night.
