Houston had a great meeting today!!
The weather here in Houston was pretty nasty this morning so I was not sure how the turn out would be for the meeting. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The Houston group took "rain or Shine" to mean just that. Although no one showed up in their Cobra, we had 24 people show up.
We also had 17 people (3 came in after my last post) pre-pay for the Austin Event! We talked about our plans for Austin and we watched the video from the first year's TCC meet. Paul also brought a video from Crusing the Cost which was also pretty awesome. This meet just goes to show you that the cars bring us together but it's the people that make it fun! We had 24 people that hung out and conversed about cars and everything else for almost 3 hours and from the looks of things everyone had a good time. A good turn out indeed! 24 people on a rainy Saturday is nice to see. Perhaps next time we'll have better weather and tons of Cobras.

This may have been my first meeting, but it won't be my last. More folks than I expected, and I enjoyed meeting y'all. Worth the 2-hour drive! Later, David Shelton.
