Interest in Caravan from DFW to San Marcos

It is less than three weeks before time to go to San Marcos for the Texas Cobra Club Spring Meet. Depending on weather, I will be driving my car from DFW on the morning of Thursday, April 5th.

I am wondering if anyone else will be driving down that day and would like to caravan. The route also needs to be determined, preferably one that avoids I35 delays due to construction and getting through Austin.

Anyone interested? If so, is there a route you prefer?

Chris,
I'm leaving early Thursday morning and going directly to Harris Hill. What time are you thinking of leaving?

Departure time is completely open at this point. Do you typically go on 281?

I'm trailering so will just go I-35 to 130.
I'll probably be there before you guys leave. :)

Let me know what time you guys plan on passing through Waxahachie and I'll tag along. I'd like to get down to San Marcos around 10:00am.

Ok. I have trailer envy. We are probably going on back roads and will have to suffer driving our cars for 4 to 5 hours to get there.

Hope to see you in San Marcos!

Don't get trailer envy -- driving there is half the fun! Next year when mine is done, we'll Gumball down together... !

In order to arrive by 10:00, I would have to leave my house at 5:00 AM!

Assuming nothing changes... Sammy and I are leaving Wednesday about 9am from McKinney with trailers in tow.
