CMC Project Progress

Well, I finally got around to taking and posting a few photos of my CMC Cobra. I finished the Emergency brakes, shifter, trans hump with sealer, fan shroud and a few more details. Still have paint, interior, and many more details. At least, now I don't have to make sidepipe noises with my mouth- all I have to do is turn the key!!! Check out the photos, and let me know what you think of the TCC decal on the wall. My Cobra's color will be Black with Medium Blue S/C stripes. Interior is buckskin brown. Later, David Shelton.

David,

Nice car. Is this a long term project or something you picked up unfinished?

Hey, what's that red car is the backround of the first picture?

Long term project. (I stopped for about 4 years to open a contracting business, now I have a little more time). Car basically had to be re-engineered. Red car in background is 1963 Ford Galaxie 2-dr sedan. (Much modified 289 with 5-speed Tremec and a lot of other goodies).

NIce pix! Shop looks nice as well. Can't wait until I'm that far along. Good luck.

Like the sticker too. What did you stick it on?

Cut out a piece of .040" aluminum and stuck decal on it. Now I can hang it anywhere.

ThePidler 04-01-2002 07:17 PM

Great idea! What did you cut it with? Surely not a pair of tin snips? I'd like to do something simular with my sticker.

I cut mine with a Plasma Arc, but snips would do as well- just takes a little effort. 032" would work also. Later, David.
